Tom first picked up the guitar aged 12, intrigued by all the different sounds he had heard from old records his parents were playing. These were predominantly Blues and Jazz based from the 1950s onwards. Tom started to emulate the sounds and became quickly obsessed, he needed to know how those sounds were produced.
Over the course of the next 10 years Tom took guitar lessons locally before deciding to study music full time at college which led to university. Throughout this period he was performing live with bands on a weekly basis and teaching one day a week. Tom is currently forming a band to play original songs that have been recorded over the past year.
Tom can teach Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Ukulele for fun or Examinations and is very much looking forward to helping you with your musical journey.
