Eve Buigues has 20 years of teaching experience in Boston, Los Angeles, and London. Her students currently include Universal Music and Sony. In 2014, she was Tinie Tempah’s vocal coach at the 02 arena, she also coached Disclosure singer Sasha Keable, Blues artist Dan Owen, and Skyfall movie actress Tonia Sotiropoulou, among others. As a singer/songwriter, Eve released three albums with her LA band Jariya, a live album with the Jazz In Paris Project in 2010, and a meditation music album, which will be released in 2016. In 2012, Eve composed the scores for Sophocles' Oedipus Rex, directed by Giles Forman, which was performed at the Arcola Theatre, London, and for the Phoenician Women, performed in 2013. Eve gigs regularly either solo (with her ukulele) or with other musicians, under the name The Jazz In Paris Project. She has performed at many prestigious UK venues such as the Edinburgh Fringe festival, the St Brides Theatre, the Churchhill Theatre, The Edinburgh Botanic Gardens, the Edinburgh Castle, the Stirling Castle, The Dundas Castle, Prestonfield, Cowley Manor, T in the Park, the Cardiff World music festival, and The House of Lords in London, to name a few. As well as singing, Eve plays the piano and the ukulele. She enjoys teaching students of all levels and ages and believes in confidence building and solid vocal technique. She teaches workshops for actors and vocalists, which involve meditation, breathing techniques and improvisation. “It’s never too early or too late to explore one’s creativity”. Eve is a graduate of Berklee School of Music in Boston, USA and the Studio Des Variétés in Paris, France.
